Equipment Fee

Option 1: Rent a Gigabit Enabled Router – $9.95/month
Includes Static IP address, one Wi-Fi access point, full maintenance on the router, access point, and equipment needed to supply the service, and 24/7 Tech Support line.

In the event of Internet connection issues, all customers can call the 24/7 technical support line for assistance. If the issue cannot be resolved, a technician will be dispatched on a service call. Most service calls will be performed during normal business hours. If a customer is using their own router and wi-fi equipment, service will only be checked up to the demarcation point. The demarcation point is the point at which the service is handed off to the customer owned equipment. If the issue is on the customer side, a trip charge will be billed and current labor rates will be charged for the time the technician is working on the issue.

Standard Labor rate: $90/hour

  • Applies during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
  • Will be billed in ½ hour increments. Charges will be incurred when additional devices/equipment are installed and/or when trouble call issues are determined to be on the customer’s side of the service.

Standard Trip Charge: $40/trip

  • Billed when, upon the customer’s request, additional equipment is installed and/or when trouble call issues are determined to be on the customer’s side of the service.

After-hours Labor Rate: $250/hour

  • Applies after regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. & all day on Saturday).

Sunday/Holiday Labor Rate: $350/hour

  • Applies all day on Sunday or during holidays that are observed by the company.

Additional Information

  • Customers that use the Mi-Fiber router can lease additional access points for $9.95/month. This includes full maintenance.
  • Customers that use their own router can purchase access points for a one-time charge of $115. No maintenance is included.
  • A one-time non-recurring standard installation fee of $100 will apply. This includes installation of all equipment up to demarcation point, survey of the Wi-Fi coverage throughout the house, and connection of up to 5 devices (laptops, tablets, cell phone, and gaming systems only) to the Wi-Fi network.
